Bharatpur, September 1 : Valmiki Shiksha Sadan, a prominent school in Chitwan, recently celebrated Nepal’s vibrant culture by organising an exciting Lakhey Dance performance as part of the Gai Jatra festival. Hundreds of students enthusiastically observed the dance, showing the school’s dedication to preserving our age-old traditions and promoting cultural harmony and tolerance.
Two students from the tenth grade, Aarabh Shrestha and Dikshan Shrestha, stole the show with their energetic Lakhey Dance performance. Dressed in traditional Lakhey outfits, they brought the traditional dance to life with their energetic moves.
The event not only celebrated Nepalese culture but also allowed students to witness and learn about their rich heritage. Valmiki Shiksha Sadan believes that such hands-on experiences can profoundly impact young minds, fostering pride in their culture.
